This family just welcomed their 3rd little boy into the world, Evan, who is just as adorable as his brothers.  He was such an easy-going baby so I was able to take some sleeping ones of him as well as some of him awake and just looking around.  Here are some of my many favorites from our time together…

First Communion! {Columbus Ohio children’s photography}

I am proud to say that this is our oldest son who is getting ready to make his first Communion in a few weeks.  Since his ceremony is in the afternoon (and typically not nice lighting at that time), I took these this past Sunday evening when the weather was beautiful.   He looks so handsome and grown up!  We are so blessed to have him and are excited for his first Communion!

Because no First Communion session is complete without one hanging from a tree.  His idea for a pose!  : )

Baby Jake {Columbus Ohio newborn photographer}

I met up with this cute little guy and his family when he was just 11 days old.  My last few newborns have also been 11 days old so this may be becoming a trend!  He was just as sweet as can be and I was especially fond of his name, Jacob/Jake as I have one of my own!  Congratulations to the D family (big sister Raya, the dog included!)!

6 months old {Columbus Ohio baby photographer}

This adorable little girl is part of my Baby Steps plan and it seems like I just took her newborn pictures.  I have been taking her family’s pictures since the oldest sister was a newborn!  They are growing up too fast.  Little sister is now 6 months old and just as beautiful as can be like her sisters.  Here are some from our afternoon together…

The W family {Columbus Ohio family photographer}

I have been photographing this family since big brother was one year old and now he is seven!  I was excited that they contacted me in January to see about the possibility of getting family pictures in the snow AND to get big brother’s smile photographed while he was still missing his front tooth!  I don’t do many outdoor sessions in the winter, so I was very excited to do these.  Since it has been such a LONG cold winter here in Ohio we took these on March 6th and it was still just a high of 25 degrees for the day.   It was sunny and beautiful, but frigidly cold!   They were troopers through it all.  Though I am ready for spring, the snow sure made for a beautiful background!

Little Miss H {Columbus Ohio newborn photographer}

At 11 days old this little girl has quite the personality already!  She gave me a variety of expressions during her session – from big smiles to wide-eyed surprised looks.  She was very interested in the world around her and did not want to miss out on anything by sleeping during her pictures!  She just wanted to show off her big, beautiful eyes.  Congratulations to the F family on this beautiful baby girl!

Baby A – {Erica Pitcock Photography Columbus Ohio newborn photographer}

I love it when I get to capture one of the most exciting times in a person’s life – bringing home their first newborn baby!  This 7 day old beauty was a pleasure to work with, so calm and barely cried at all!  When she was awake she gave the camera great eye contact so I was excited to get lots of open-eyed shots of her.  Look at what a beautiful baby she is!

One year old! {Columbus OH children’s photographer}

I have had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little girl since she was just a few weeks old, here   and then it seems like I just did her 6 month old pictures here.  She is now a graduate of my Baby Steps Plan and is one year old!   All three sessions I did with her she was such a happy, sweet baby!   She even wore her mommy’s dress from that age in a few of the pictures. Love that!  Happy 1st birthday to her!
