A surprise engagement! {Columbus Ohio engagement photographer}

This was probably the most exciting and memorable session I have ever done!  Nikki thought this was just a family photo session capturing the three of them on a beautiful evening around the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus.  Meanwhile, Brock had emailed me prior to tell me that he would be proposing at the end of the session.  Nikki loves pictures and they had their first date at Milestone 229, a restaurant right around the Scioto Mile so it was perfect!   We walked around for about an hour taking pictures and Nikki did not suspect a thing.  Finally, we ended up back where we started (around the fountains and Milestone 229). Brock then got down on one knee and popped the question (and she of course said yes!).   He also arranged for a crowd of their family and friends to be there and they brought a stereo playing their song in the background. It was so romantic and all just perfect!  He definitely thought of everything and he is just so clever!   They celebrated with their family and friends afterwards into the night. So beautiful!

It was so fun and I was so honored to be a part of it! I wish them the very best on their upcoming wedding!  Such a beautiful family of three!
